Some Information About pamsplace

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Hi, My name is Lynne, but everyone calls me Pam, it's a family thing, lol.

I have tried my hand at a whole lot of things, selling Mary Kay, Avon,Tupperware, remember Blair products?  I sold that too.

Finally I went to school, and I'm an LPN, I love helping people, but nursing is no longer nursing, it's a bunch of paperwork, and not patient work.

I did some catering when I lived in Cleveland, Ohio and did very well with that, I LOVED it!! I got to "invent" recipes and menus.  Then I moved to South carolina and it was a whole new food scene, and I was not up to learning a whole new way of doing things, they eat foods down here like I had never seen before, like, are you ready?  Liver pudding, YUCK!! Hash and rice, hash is a meal using the offal of a pig (liver, heart, head, feet cooked down to a mush) and served over rice. Double YUCK!  And everything is served with pickles.  I had no desire to learn this culture and most important, I did not want to taste those items!

Sooo, I was kinda stuck for a while.  Then one day, I was spending time with my 6 year old grand daughter and we were hanging out visiting thrift stores.  There was a pile of about 5 easy bake ovens, she said grandma, would you get me one? I really want to learn how to cook, I can already cook spaghetti.  I said no, because you can't find the mixes and if you do, they cost a fortune.

Then,I remembered the little bit of fun, I had with my oven, little bit because once the mixes that came with the oven were gone, so was the fun. you could only find the mixes once a year, during the Christmas holidays, IF, you could find them then.

I went on-line, checked out some sites, hopped in my van and went back to the thrift store, and there were two ovens off to the side, like they were waiting for us, I got them for $2.00 each and here I am.  I am creating and planning new recipes for the light bulb ovens, and I love it!!

I have Lavender frosting with lemon poppy seed cake, red velvet cake with creme' cheese frosting, ok, no more of my secrets for now.

Come visit me!!
