About M.E.S. Music Equipment Sales Ltd.
M.E.S. Music Equipment Sales Ltd. is
a Hamilton, Ontario, Canada based full line music store. M.E.S.,
started in 1971 by Bill Longley, introduced
competitive product pricing to Canada. As well,
M.E.S. has always been known as a source of knowledge to their
many customers. Honest, straight-forward information has always
been willingly shared with anyone who needed help in making an informed
decision about the purchase, rental or servicing of any music related
gear.
When Bill first got into the
business, sales were done out of his small Main Street East location.
Sometimes there was standing room only because of the amount of
equipment waiting to be delivered. Many of the customers we deal
with today still fondly recall those days. In 1980 we moved
to our present location at 34 Parkdale Avenue North and then in
1990, we doubled our space by adding a second story to our
building.
After over 30 years, Bill is still
at the helm of M.E.S. and enjoys meeting both new and regular customers
every day. He looks forward to the challenge of providing the
exact piece of gear to meet the musician's specific need. Everyday
is different and exciting
Here at Music Equipment Sales, the
product mix has always been eclectic. Meticulously searching the
nooks and crannies of trade-show isles, M.E.S. became the first Ontario
music store to introduce many new and innovative products to the
region's musicians.
And you should also know that we are very experienced at running on-line auctions, having a combined feedback of 62 on the OTHER 'e'-Auction site with 100% satisfaction... While that number may not seem particularly high compared to some, the quality of our collection of positive feedback comments are absolutely glowing! As well, we have successfully completed hundreds of other on-line sales all over the world... We proud to say we have customers all over the world... In the US, England, Ireland, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, Australia, Japan and, of course, Canada...
