Some Information About lenisgood

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Hi, My name's Len (hence the username!).  I've come back to eBid after being away from all the auction sites for nearly 3 yrs. Yes, i have bought and sold on Ebay where i do have a feedback of 414 POSITIVES0 NEUTRALS and 0 NEGATIVES. Please look at my feedback on eBay as i think this will give you the confidence to bid on my items here on eBid.

I always liked the setup on eBid (and the very friendly forums) and have been registered for nearly 7 years but in my early days here i found it very difficult to sell as the buyers for the items i was selling were few (if any) and i couldn't find anything i wanted to buy. I have now come back to see if there are any buyers for the items i wish to sell, which will be mainly gold and silver coins, although i might list a few other items as well. You will almost certainly find that my reserve prices will be cheaper than on eBay. I'll also be having a search around to see if there's anything on eBid that i'd like to buy.

Hope you like what i have to sell and if you buy from me i assure you that you will not be disappointed with the quality of the goods and service that you will get.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me through the 'Ask seller a question' facility on the auction listing.

What has happened to eBay!

I was shocked, when i returned to eBay, to see that you MUST use PAYPAL as an option in your auction listing to receive payment from buyers. eBay will not let you list anything  if you do not  use Paypal as an option. The reason is fairly obvious - the seller has to cough up PAYPAL fees (3.4%  of the price an item sells for) as well as the eBay fees (10% + listing fees). In my opinion, a lot of people selling high priced items raise the price that they're selling an item for to allow for the massive fees they end up having to pay. This is why (in my opinion) the reserve price of many items on eBay are higher than they should be and so the buyer ends up having to fork out more as well..... Although a buyer on eBay CAN choose to use other means to pay you (cheque, postal order or bankers draft)  a seller is NOT allowed to choose the method with which they would like to be paid!!
