Some Information About knittingcrazi
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
I think of myself as "just ordinary" (well not strictly true, for I think all human beings, myself included are Special)
I am an avid supporter of various charities, and in recent years one has become very close to my heart.
I try to support Help For Heroes in my very own, small way.
Like many others It breaks my heart every time I hear of another member of our armed forces has lost their life.
I have three good friends who have lost much loved family members during the last three years, the most recent being the grandson of one of them.
I can try to support my friends in their grief, but felt so helpless.
When I heard about HELP FOR HEROES and the work they do for the ones who have survived, but have had their lives completely devasted, I knew I had to find a way to help. But how?
I had this thought about starting a business, selling donated items, but when I looked into it decided I could not cope with the stress of such an undertaking.
So as my username suggests I spoke to some like mind friends, and encouraged by them, started to sell donated Kinitting (mainly machine) items to raise funds.
I do not raise massive amounts, but feel good to be helping.
I give ALL of the proceeds minus P&P to the charity. I describe all items (faults and all) so buyers are able to make informed choices, and I never inflate postage & packing costs.
Sorry this All About Me has now become a 'novel' so I will stop for now.
