Hi
My husband and I started selling personalised gifts in 1986 after the birth of our first daughter. We sold items such as wooden door plaques, bread boards, keyrings, rolling pins etc personalising them with names. If you ever visited Minehead, Cheddar, Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea, Brean or Blackbushe markets you may have seen us busily burning names on wooden items. We also attended craft fairs.
I retired in 2009 and my husband in 2010 but after a year of doing nothing (apart from gardening and housework) we thought we would start up a little business selling items we used to make.
We currently look after our only grandson three days a week whilst his mum and dad work so needed something where we were not committed every day.
Whilst new to ebid we sell auctions on another internet site.
