Some Information About herbalbaybee
I first became interested in baby slings during my time in Indonesia in the Sumatran jungle.I started off backpacking in Thailand,and after getting bored with tropical beaches,(you do eventually),I decided to travel down to Sumatra to go on a jungle trek to see the orang utans in the wild.It was there that I met my husband,(a trekking guide,not an orang utan:))
Anyway to cut a long story short,I eventually,after a bit more travelling,ended up living in that village,getting married,and having my first child,a son,in a hut in the jungle.
Every Indonesian mother carries their baby in a 'Kain Gendong' Basically it's a long strip of fabric,tied(sort of folded),in a complicated way,(for us westerners anyway).I couldn't help noticing how calm and contented all the babies seemed.
RING SLINGS
The same concept as the 'Kain Gendong' but with rings for fastening and adjusting.This type of sling was featured in the channel 4 programme 'Bringing Up Baby' (The Continuem Concept).These are fully adjustable to fit anyone from a size 6 to a size 20.They are suitable for a newborn to a 3 year old,with multiple positions.Comes with easy to understand fully illustrated instructions.Each sling comes with a drawstring storage pouch,which transforms a bulky accessory into a compact one.Good for hanging on the back of the buggy or just makes it fit better in your bag.I produce my own and so far I have 100% positive feedback on ebay.Below is just one of the emails I have received about these slings via ebay -

Hi, i just had to send you a message to say thank you lol since my sling arrived thi morning i've been 'wearing' maddison and she's never been so settled :). this is a life saver leaving my hands free to play with my 2 other children and do he housework. p.s excuse the no punctuation i'm one hand typing while i feed my little (extremely settled for the first time since birth) lady :)
Also can i just say this is so well made too i've seen a lot in the shops that are awful quality so it's fantastic to find this type of quality at such a reasonable price :), just need to persuade my husband to let me get a spare now ;).

POCKET SLINGS
A bestseller of mine.No frills,but strong and up to the job.Has nylon fastenings,so perfect for travelling,as they don't set off alarms through airport control.Folds up small enough to fit in your pocket.Great for a spare sling,or if you're just on a budget.Suitable for 0 - 1 years,(18 months if small toddler).
I also sell other stuff occasionally,with no complaints yet :)
