Some Information About fishing4pennies

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hi,
thankyou for taking the time to read this..
I've been selling mostly terminal tackle and occasionaly lures on Ebay for some years now, but due to the increase in selling fees and increasingly anti-small-seller policies I have decided to list here on Ebid - my identity of 'fishing4pennies' doesn't quite work if I have to keep jacking up my prices until the pennies become pounds!

I'm a sea-angler myself and ALL terminal tackle (swivels, snaplinks, etc) are road-tested before I buy in bulk to sell, primarily to make enough pennies (quite literaly at these prices) so that I can afford the fuel and bait to go sea-fishing myself (I live 30miles inland). As for the lures etc, I used to work in a tackle shop (one of the biggest in Wales) and having despatched lord knows how many 'branded' lures by the likes of SavageGear etc I can honestly say that anglers are highly susceptable to marketing hype about 'lifelike' lures... if this were the case no fish would ever have been caught on a Toby or Mepps style spinner as they look nothing like a real fish - fish strike on movement and probability that it is a meal, hence my tagline "It ain't what you fish... it's the way that you fish it.. THAT'S what gets results!". An angler who knows how to twitch&jerk a piece of balsawood the right way will get a strike (that's where Rapalas came from!). The 'life-like' lures are basically angling porn and bling-bragging.. more fool you if you want to pay £4 for a lure that will get snagged/lost the same as any other (imho)!

I sell on Ebay also as 'fishing4pennies' and 'fishing4pennies2' so you can check out my credentials there... same pics and descriptions, except that I have to sell at higher prices on Ebay to cover the increasingly extortionate costs.

Please take the time to support the small sellers (and not just myself)... without competition the major sellers have a free run at the market place.. and that inevitably means less choice and higher prices in the same way that the supermarkets killed the High Street.

Once again, thankyou for reading.. :-)
