Some Information About exkurandarailway

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

I am not a retail business selling stock for more than you can buy in-store. I am an enthusiast.

If you have any specific requests please email me and I will prioritse its listing if the manager says it's available.

I buy and sell-on. How does that work?

a. Sometimes to get a good buy I have to buy more than I really want. Postage for five items is often not that much more for 1 item. Take my own postage costs. You buy one point that's $8 postage but add another two, a couple of wagons,  and an accessory and the postage might still be $8 because it's still under 500g and fits in that size satchel. (See my addition below.) I don't like buying from people who have a base postage and then want to charge you an extra $1 an item when it doesn't cost them anymore  to add it and they want you to believe they're doing you a favour.

b. Sometimes to get what I want I have to buy an auction lot that has it in it. I want a Skaledale Store Room but I might have to buy a Boiler Room and an Extension building, as well. I keep what I want and sell on.

c. And of course, "Gee that looks beaut!" Later, "Hmmmm, it just don't fit!"

I take the risk of buying from someone overseas who I have to trust with the item description, postage costs, packing and saying they've sent when the post mark is two weeks after the notification. Or the seller who insists that you pay straight away but waits a week before they send it. Try sending one item back overseas for a refund at your own cost :-( It's not worth it. One day I'll put up listings for items that I will rate as poor to fair at best. They'll be real bargains for you but very disapointing when I got them.

Feedback: I have been on another on-line auction service for five years, buying as choralc with a feedback rating over 930. I have recently begun selling on this service as exkurandarailway and would appreciate your praise.

You have that item on eBay and... it should be cheaper here. Why not? Make an offer on eBid.

You have that item on eBay and... it isn't here. Contact me and I can close the eBay listing so that you can buy it cheaper here.
You have that item on eBay... so why is it cheaper and your postage cheaper here? eBid's 'final value'fees are cheaper!
