In Car Entertainment & Car Stereo Decoding

Since 1992, We have specialised in Car Stereo Decoding and Repairs, and with a growing list of over 2500 different models of Radio on our Decoding Database, we consider ourselves to be one of the worlds largest technical specialists in this field, and certainly one of the oldest. If it`s out there, we can almost certainly Decode it, and if it`s not on our website, E-Mail us, and it soon will be!

We also operate a very large Mail Order Company, and can generally source most makes and models of In Car Entertainment at very competitive prices. We always have loads of bargains to be had, from spare parts and Service Manuals to specialist test equipment. Keep an eye on our listings.

  
 

 


At the End of the Auction:

At the end of the Auction, you will receive an automatic E-Mail indicating that you are the winner. We prefer payment to be made via PayPal as it is certainly the fastest and easiest. Our PayPal address is and should you wish to pay via credit card, we are happy to accept card payments (not Amex) over £20 via our online secure server. Sorry, but direct bank transfers, Personal Cheques, and Postal Orders are no longer accepted.


Shipping:

Goods will only be shipped once we are satisfied that payment has cleared. Because we also operate a very large mail order company, we are used to sending out parcels in bulk, but lots of parcels do take up valuable time. We generally ship goods out within three or four days, about the same time as it takes most payments to clear our bank !! Please don`t moan about any postage charges, as there is a lot more to postage than the simple price of a stamp. Packaging, associated fees, Courier phone calls and trips to the post office standing in que`s with grumpy pensioners and screaming kids all take time and cost extra money. Please also be aware that our postal charges apply to UK Mainland only, Highlands and Islands will incur extra charges on heavy items. If you are outside the Uk, Overseas, or outside Mainland UK, please ask us for a shipping quote before bidding.


Code Numbers: 

We operate an Instant decoding service on some models, and although we are successfull 99% of the time, there are a few instances on older radio`s where the codes have been altered over the years and this service may not provide your number. You will see from our feedback that this does not happen very often. But if it does, we can manually reprogram your radio for an additional charge, but only if you send it to our workshop. Upon receipt of the radio and payment, we will credit any original monies spent for the previous Instant Decoding Service.


Warranties and Returns:

Our site has a mixture of New and Used items that are clearly marked. Only Brand New items that we sell come with a full 12 months manufacturers return to base warranty. In the unlikely event of a failure, please contact us immediately via E-Mail, as we may be able to solve your problems very easily. If you need to return the unit to us for inspection, please be aware that we are unable to cover any postal charges for the return of any damaged or faulty items. If an item is sent back to us, and proves not be under warranty, then you will be charged with a return courier fee and a small inspection charge.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT ITEMS THAT ARE SENT TO US WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OR BY C.O.D.
Any secondhand or used items do not come with any form of warranty whatsoever unless specifically stated in the listings.


Feedback:

We always leave positive feedback where possible, especially as our transactions go so smoothly. We do ask that feedback is left for us as soon as you receive the item, so we know it has arrived safely. Once we know that you are happy with it, and the transaction is closed, we too will leave feedback by return. If for any reason you have a problem, give us a yell first as problems can always be rectified.


E-Mails and Technical Help:

With the number of E-Mails currently sent to us, we are unable to offer an immediate response, although we do try very hard to answer all questions and comments within 48 Hours. When contacting us, please make sure that you include a subject, make, model or anything that can give us a clue as to how we can help you. The more info you give, the better the answer will be that you will receive.


Cancellations and Non Paying Bidders:

I really hate this bit, but it needs to be said. Any bid is a legally binding contract and if we do not hear from you within 7 days, then we will be left with no option but report you to the powers that be and instigate proceedings to recover our listing Fees, which invariably leads to people being suspended and struck off.

We are bound by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations Act of 2000, but only when dealing with Brand New goods. The Consumer has a 7 day cooling off period. If you wish to return a Brand New item to us within 7 days, please note that it must be in 100% original, undamaged, unused, uninstalled, unfitted and unmarked condition with all of the original packaging fully intact with no rips or tears whatsoever. We do not cover return postage, and we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if accepted back into stock. You must also include your invoice. If an item is returned in an acceptable condition then we will refund any outstanding money within the legislative 30 days. Please contact us for a returns number before sending any items back to us.
