About 13 years ago, I had to figure out a way to make some money to pay for my daughter's wedding. Looking around my house, there were many items that I could do without and decided to give the Internet a try. I began with the smaller auction sites that were in existence at that time (ebay gobbled them all up) and was successful. I enjoyed doing this and decided to publish a little handbook - FORGET GARAGE SALES...HIT THE INTERNET to let others know about this new phenomenon. A friend who was an Antiques Dealer was intrigued and asked me to sell some items for him on eBay...I took a big gulp and went ahead and listed on ebay even though I was quite intimidated by the size of the site. That was almost 12 years ago and I've been selling ever since. I occasionally sell things for other people but am trying to downsize my own home right now. My feedback at ebay is over 7000 (100%)- I try very hard to make my customers happy. I go to the Post Office 2 or 3 times a week and ship as quickly as I can. Looking forward to selling on ebid!
