I am registered ebay member (aci1e9na) since 2000 and good feedback score as buyer and seller. I had sold items in ebay, charging at fair postage prices, that when I get it wrong (I refund) my customer. Sometimes, there is not much left from the payments after ebay and paypal charges. I found Ebid.net as fair selling tools that complement my hobbies and organize my home.
My shop is about All-Sorts and an Odd-Collection collection of items. These are from my home, used, unused, or made by yours truly (as my hobby), utilising the materials I have at home. We have a non-smoking, no-pet home.
To get the items you bought to you, you can collect it or I can post it via RoyalMail or Myhermes. If you are collecting please pay when collecting.
You may find the items are cheap, but shipping is expensive. To deliver the item as a package in UK (the size of the item will not go through a letter box, or weight less than a kilo) is priced aound £3.00 (as of January 2021). Whatever is left by the cost of posting it via RoyalMail.Com or Myhermes.Co.UK, covers the paypal fees, packaging and transport cost. Often, buyers were put off on buying the items because of delivery charges. If you happen to find more than one item to buy from my shop. I do recommend you to avail combined shipping. This is by contacting by asking question under one of the item that you want to avail combined shipping. This will require me to send you a different invoice, with itemised charges. To estimate the posting charges ahead, add the weight information of the items. If size is bigger for a “small parcel” or weight is higher than a kilo, it will have a higher posting charges. Refer for these website for postal charges. I do find Myhermes.co.uk is cheaper when the package is heavier than two kilos.
