Some Information About WickedBargains
I was previously a Seller at "FeeBay" for several years, and I now have a new home with eBid. My main auctions will be the Barbie Dolls I customize.
I create my customized dolls from a brand new Barbie Doll using her as my canvas. I begin with a theme or celebrity in mind that I am going to create. I usually start with the hair and wash and do a "first cut" or shaping. I then remove the original paint from their face. If I am doing a theme doll, I am already thinking of the fashion I will be sewing.... as I am working on the hair and face. When I am creating a celebrity look-a-like doll, I will sometimes use a photo to guide me as I start with the face features and hairstyle. At times I may use other fashion dolls to create with.
I use quality acrylic paints and sealers and new fabrics and accessories for my dolls. I sometimes make my own jewelry for the dolls, or may purchase jewelry from other sellers online that hand make their own dolly jewelry.
Because of paint, sealers and small pieces in the jewelry and accessories my dolls are created for adult and older teen collectors and not for children's play. And because Barbie/Fashion Dolls are made of vinyl, care should be given when displaying and storing. Dolls should not be put in really cold or hot places, like in direct sunlight.
I will also be offering other items and will be opening several eBid Stores
to separate the auction catagories.
