Some Information About SeasonedGeek
I'm an IT consultant with over 30 years of software development. Started out working on real computers with real operating systems. After spending about two decades working on mostly DEC equipment and occassionally IBM Mainframe, I started working on the home hobby x86 computers and doing embedded systems work. Mostly medical devices these days. In my "spare" time I write an award winning technical book series. When I list equipment on here, it will be equipment I either used or purchased as a backup for a project. I live rural so when working remote I keep extra power supplies, UPS, hard drives, etc. on hand until I'm done with that equipment. From time to time you will see "old tech" like IDE drives still in factory shrink because I needed to have it as a spare for a machine being used for a project.
I don't buy and sell hardware as a business. I buy hardware, use it, then sell it when I'm done with it.
