Some Information About RedDoorTreasures
Hi! Welcome to Red Door Treasures!
We have an eclectic mix of items, as we sell consignment inventory of estate items, and overstock inventory for a few select high-end boutiques.
Currently our clients are in a 'sell, sell, sell' mode, and are selling 'bulks lots' of overstock at or below cost - there are some great deals to be had.
Some lots are pre-packaged, and cannot be split, but others may be divided so you can get just the number that you need. Remember the old saying, 'you never know, until you ask'. And, of course, we will gladly combine shipping when possible.
We realize that in reviewing each listing, shipping may seem a little high. However, in order to guarantee that you are satisfied with your order, we require that some shipments be insured. The handling fee covers the packaging and supplies cost; in addition, the fee may cover insurance cost as well. We charge only actual charges plus costs, and do not make 'shipping' our profit center.
If you are making multiple purchases, we will gladly send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping amount or give you a pre-purchase estimate. In our first case of providing this service, our customer purchased eight items where ebid totaled the shipping to over $74 - we adjusted the charge to just $10 (which included insurance).
Secondly, when you submit your payment to us via Google Checkout, your payment stays in "Approved" status until we determine the 'final' shipping charges. Only then do we process your payment. Through Google Checkout, we have the ability to reduce the amount paid if an overcharge has occured.
As well as Google Checkout, we also accept PayPal (our auctions are being edited on an ongoing basis to reflect this change).
We have witnessed some great improvements on ebid already, and expect a combined shipping calculator and an insurance calculator to be items on their 'to do list'. As ebid continues to grow, changes will be made to our auctions accordingly.
