Hello! I am Georgia and welcome to "Georgia's Collectibles". My career began with a degree in Interior Design from Ohio State University. I have worked in many professional design studios located in Columbus, New Orleans and Southern California. During that time I was fortunate to have worked on many interesting projects including a renovation of the Delta Queen steamship; Galatoires and Romanoffs restaurants and the International Hotel in New Orleans and the executive offices of First Pacific, The Moss Group and DataProducts in Southern California. For the last ten years of my active career I was the owner and chief designer of Executive Interiors in Southern California.

Now that I am retired from the business it is time for me to whittle down the size and number of items that I have retained for my own collection. I do not profess to be an Expert in Collectibles but I do try my best to offer as accurate a description as I can. In preparing the item descriptions I consult with an extensive library of reference books including: McCoy Pottery by Jeffrey B. Snyder;  Encyclopedia of California Pottery by Jack Chipman;  American & European Art Pottery by Kyle Husfloen; Pottery & Porcelain Ceramics by Kyle Husfloen;  Cookie Jars Books  by Ermagene Westfall, and many others. I also use the internet extensively for research and of course rely on knowledge I have gained in my years in the Interior Design profession.

Even though I am a new seller on eBid, I do have a track record selling on the internet. I had a shop on eBay for years and produced over 500 sales each with a five star rating. I closed my shop for all the obvious reasons.  Recently, I opened shops on Etsy  (Georgia's Collectibles by Collectible Showcase) and Bonanza (Georgia's Collectibles). My sales on both sites all received a five star rating.
