Some Information About MikeOborne
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hi I am a long time railway modeller and seller of items surplus to my requirements. I am retired (74 years old), married with 4 grown up children and live in 'sunny' Sussex in the South of England. I have been successfully selling railway bits and pieces for many years in all gauges - N., TT., HO., OO., O and G Scale. On another well known site I had over 4000 good feedbacks before closing it down. Hopefully this site will prove as good. If I can be of any assistance, then please contact me.
Additionally I attend Railway Shows and Collectors Fairs in the South where I have many regular happy buyers.
Please keep looking as I hope to list other items soon. I prefer to list as 'Buy it Now' as it give people the chance to make a sensible offer , which I try to accept. I do not charge any packing fees and postal fees where possible.
I personally collect items from the 1950's and thereabout - the days before plastic etc., the days when you had to make things yourself from metal and wood and it was'nt all done for you. I especially am always on the look-out for OO gauge items made by Graham Farish. i.e. Locos, Pullman Cars. coaches and wagons.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Sincerely ''Mike''
p.s. I can be emailed on and welcome enquiries etc.
