ABOUT ME:
Thanks for your interest!  I'm just a typical small business operator trying to make ends meet.  My family and I and Missy & Elliot, our two little dogs, live in a lovely little town near the Southern Oregon Coast and we feel very blessed to be here.  We have lived here since 1999 and are proud to be a part of our community.  The Oregon Coast is among the most beautiful places in the World and I encourage everyone to come and see our unspoiled coastline.  The fishing is great, the scenery is spectacular and there are lots and lots of fun and interesting things to do.

My promise to you is that my prices are fair, the merchandise is just as described, and I don't hide the actual price of items behind bloated shipping fees or other gimmicks.  All of my items ship either for free or at a discounted shipping price.  I always calculate the cost of shipping as part of the overall cost to you when I price an item so I hope you will take that into consideration when comparing my prices with those of other vendors.  I think you'll find that, among all the vendors, my prices are competetive but if you can do better elsewhere then I can only agree that that vendor deserves your business.  As online vendors continuously attempt to undercut one another I know that some of them will fall away once they discover that their business model is unsustainable.  I do not intend to be just another "fly by night" operation as so many auction site vendors are; I intend to sustain and grow my business.  And while I am, presently, new to doing online business on eBid I am not new to business.  I hope this page is helpful & THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING IN MY STORES!

MY POLICIES:
Free or Advertised shipping costs include Continental U.S. locations.  All others please contact me for a (no obligation) shipping cost quote -  I will add only the extra cost to me.  Expedited shipping is always available; including 3 day, 2 day or standard overnight. My default carrier will be FedEx but I reserve the right to use an alternative carrier as long as the item ships within the same time frame.  ITEMS CANNOT SHIP TO P.O. BOX or APO ADDRESSES but must ship to a physical address. I'm sorry for that inconvenience.

I guarantee my items against defect for thirty (30) days from the time of delivery.  If you have any problem after a purchase please contact me as soon as possible and I will resolve it.  Defective products, unless warrented by the manufacturer, can be returned for an exchange or a refund when you contact me within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise. In the event that you receive incorrect merchandise you must inform me within 4 days of the delivery date.

If a package arrives damaged please notify me within 7 days of the date of delivery so that I can begin a carrier claim and advise you on the  carrier's procedure for inspecting the damage.  In case of shipping damage the customer must retain the original shipping box which contains the carrier's shipping label and original tracking number.  The carrier will return to retreive the item.  An exchange, credit or refund will be issued once the carrier claim is approved. I'm afraid that after a week has elapsed I can no longer consider carrier claims but only defective merchandise claims.

Because of the cost of shipping and difficulty in handling involved, if a product is not defective or damaged, returns or exchanges will be made only under extraordinary circumstances.  Any such return must first be approved by me and done within 15 days of the receipt of the merchandise. Upon approval I will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) and then merchandise can be returned to the shipping address that appears on the delivery package. Any returned merchandise must be in original factory condition and must include all original packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. A 20% restocking fee will be charged to the customer and the balance will be refunded.  I would like to be more liberal with this policy but as an online merchant it simply isn't possible.  For that reason I recommend that you check out the product details thoroughly and perhaps even research the product online before deciding to buy.

As a seller on eBid I will always defer to their policies and procedures that I have agreed to abide by in the event of a conflict .

My reputation is important to me and the only way for me to keep my reputation intact is to make my customers happy.  That's good for business and so its good for me.

just for fun:
* excellent homemade tarter sauce recipe:  1 part mayonnaise, 1 part sour cream; add dill pickle relish, garlic powder and pepper to taste

for fish and chips: try adding some Creole seasoning to the batter or breading mix before frying

* did you know that many people who live along the Oregon coast can their own albacore tuna.  There's tuna in the cupboard that I caught myself!

* ever heard of crab cioppino? Its a Pacific Northwest specialty. Just add dungeness crab that has been partially cracked to a simmering pot of pasta sauce.  Give the sauce and the crab enough time to combine flavors and then serve the crab in a bowl, like a stew, with toasted sourdough garlic bread on the side.  Its messy so have lots of napkins on hand.  Here's a helpful link:  http://www.thegutsygourmet.net/cioppino2.html
