Some Information About BlueberryLane
My BlueberryLane moniker is part of my Barn Swallow Farm identity, where I can be found on social media, such as Twitter and Pinterest. See my links below.
(We have blueberries here as well as barn swallows so it seemed like a good choice of name when ebid informed me that Barn Swallow Farm name was already taken!)
I want you to know that you can bid/buy with confidence from someone who has already proven excellent customer service, integrity, and honesty on other marketplaces on the web. I've come to eBid as an exciting new venture for me, because I like what I see here, among the sellers and the buyers.
I sell mostly vintage -- with a handful of newer handmade crafts, and a few antiques. Much of it is what we've collected over the years or inherited. Some other things are just "irresistible objects" that I continue to find in our road trips, which always seem to lead us to an Antique or Vintage mall or auction.
From good old fashioned utility items to exquisite china -- and everything in between -- there's a great mix of offerings at price points for everyone.
Mostly, I like to sell what I've collected and loved: I'm as likely to be as lovestruck by a 50-cent paper doll "auction find", as I am to be enraptured by a Limoges place setting that I found in some out-of-the-way antique shop.
My prices are middle-of-the-road affordable because lovely items from the past should be available to everyone, and put back in the hands of those who really love them, no matter their budget. When I started collecting 30 years ago, I was always a little cast down by things I had to leave behind because my budget wouldn't stretch as far as I needed it to!
Now, here's my chance to pass on my passion, and my savings, to you!

IMPORTANT POLICIES -- PLEASE READ
IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
Sale of item does not include Import Duties and Taxes to foreign countries. This will be the responsibility of the buyer.
If you have a concern, please refer to your country's Customs Office regarding (potential) additional charges.
I will not underprice an item on the customs form, nor mark it as a "gift".
I've never encountered issues with items clearing customs offices quickly, but in times of high volume (Christmas) items may be delayed. Please check your country's delivery standards for clearing customs.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PARCEL?
I ship items within 2 business days of your cleared payment. Delivery standards will vary by shipping method chosen by you -- anywhere from 1 or 2 days (Xpresspost) to up to 10 business days (US Small Packet Air). Other international orders can take up to 12 weeks if Surface method is chosen. See below.
DELIVERY STANDARDS
If you do not live in Canada or the USA, parcels may take up to 12 weeks for delivery if you choose International Surface method. I would strongly suggest choosing, at least, International Air or Tracked Packet, as each will arrive in about 12 business days.
CURRENCY
All items are priced in US Dollars.
RETURNS POLICY
All items are sold as is/as found so please check the photos carefully and ask as many questions as you wish before you bid or buy, to ensure you're getting exactly what you want, as the purchase of an item constitutes a final sale. I will gladly provide more photos upon request.
I inspect my items very closely before ever putting them up on Ebid and you are buying exactly what you see. If you feel the item has been misrepresented, please bring it to my attention immediately and I will work with you to make things right.
If your item has been broken in transit, please contact me immediately with photos of the item and of the damaged package, and I will reimburse the cost of the item. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed unless the post office agrees to compensate for damage in transit.
No returns accepted unless the item is damaged in transit. If so, I will require photographic proof of the damage so that I can process an insurance claim for a full refund to you.
