The info:-
I tend to include as much info as I can on the description including a synopsis and any reviews, awards, prizes etc as these things influence me when I am buying. The photo above is just one of my bulging shelves and selling them is a way of ensuring I still have some room left in my house! Generally the books are in good condition and unless otherwise stated (ie first editions or uncorrected proofs) are sold as reading copies. The photos are of the actual books so you can judge from yourselves but I can be inclined - if I see a book I want - to end up with a scruffy copy from the charity shops. Sometimes I buy them new and you can hardly tell they have been read. I try and indicate this as best as possible in a one-liner but if the condition of the book is an important factor to you then just let me know and I will give you more info.
Paperbacks:- £1.50
Hardbacks:- £2.50
Uncorrected Proofs/first editions - price as displayed
£0.50p reduction for every additional book that you purchase from me as long as they are posted together. E-Bid does not allow for postal discounts so I will send you a revised invoice. If you are keen and pay immediately I will refund you. If there is going to be any significant gap in your purchases just e-mail me to let me know you will be buying more than one thing.
Whether speed of delivery or price is important to you the postage scales are not meant to be daunting but to give you more options. So choose the one that works for you. I will aim to post the next working day following receipt of payment. You will know when I post it as this will be when I leave feedback.
These are as follows:-
UK 1st Class Post:- Usually next working day
UK 2nd Class Post - Usually by the third working day after posting.
Airmail Europe - Usually by the third working day after posting.
Airmail Rest of World - Usually by the fifth working day after posting.
Surface Mail - Ah the cheapest but....you are going to have to wait! Surface is 2 weeks for Western Europe, 4 weeks Eastern Europe, 8 weeks Rest of World.Refunds
If I have misrepresented anything (accidentally of course) I will refund the item. I do my best to give you an indication of the condition but please ask - especially if you think I have been a bit vague. I am happy to send additional photos if required.
