Grand Central Comics is my online shop based out of Austin, TX! Active seller online since 2006. The inventory includes Modern Age, Copper Age, and Bronze Age comics. Marvel, DC, Image, Boom! Studios, IDW, Black Mask, Behemoth, Aftershock and other hot Independents! CGC Graded, Low prints, HTF, Scarce issues, and multiple printings.
SHIPPING:
Standard shipping method starts at FIRST CLASS $5.75 - or- MEDIA MAIL $4.50, unless otherwise indicated. High Value books ship Priority Mail starting at $7.95. CGC graded slabs Shipping starts at $15.
Each order ships:
- Raw - GEMINI MAILERS
- SLABS - Bubble-wrapped, Placed inside a large, padded box.

GRADING:
Grading is based on Overstreet and Generally accepted standards.
The GENERAL STANDARD for grading comic books goes as such:
MM+ - Mint (9.6 - 10)
NM- to Near Mint (9.0 - 9.4)
The GENERAL STANDARD for grading comic books goes as such:
MM+ - Mint (9.6 - 10)
NM- to Near Mint (9.0 - 9.4)
VF- to Very Fine+ (7.0 - 8.5)
FN - Fine+ (6.0 - 7.0)
GD(Good) to Very Good (VG) (4.0 - 5.5)
98% of my sales are New Books or Current/Modern books in 'Unread, NM Condition', straight from the distribution box to storage to online shop.
Back issues (Bronze Age, Copper) range from Very Good to Near Mint.
I rarely sell Silver Age or Golden Age, but condition is based soley upon photos and detailed description.
RETURN POLICY:
As a seller and a buyer of comic books, I understand that buying/selling online is based purely on TRUST. To solidify the trust between Buyer and Seller, here is my Return Policy.
Return for Grading:
my grading is very strict and based on industry metrics. I will show full sized photos on request. If you feel the grade is not what you expected, you can do one of the following -
- Contact within 7 days - return with the same packaging insert (box or cardboard/bubblewrap,etc) -
Return for Wrong Item:
if I sent you the wrong item, return and I will also send you the correct item (I pay for costs).
If you purchased the wrong item you will be responsible for full return costs AND shipping costs for the correct item.
