Seller's Description

Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1975 Costa-Gavras Thriller SPECIAL SECTION (SECTION SPECIALE), based on the book by Hervé Villeré and starring Louis Seigner, Roland Bertin, Michael Lonsdale, Ivo Garrani, and Francois Maistre.

In occupied France during the World War II, a German officer is murdered. The collaborationist Vichy government decides to pin the murder on six petty criminals. Loyal judges are called in to convict them as quickly as possible.

Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
