Simplicity 8466 sewing pattern "Simple to Sew®" boys' and girls' animal costumes with detachable head piece. This 1977 vintage pattern can be used to make a child's Rabbit, Cat or Tiger costume in a size 10. Parts of the pattern nave been cut out already. Please see the pattern inventory for details.

Simple to Sew® BOYS' AND GIRLS' ANIMAL COSTUMES WITH DETACHABLE HEAD PIECE:
The costume with front zipper and long kimono sleeves has contrasting mitts, ear facings and soles. The hood is lined. V. 1 has pom-pon trim and tail. V. 2 & 3 have stuffed tail. V. 2 features ribbon bows.V. 2 & 3 have contrasting patch.

Fabrics:
Cotton types: Broadcloth, flannel, polished cotton, homespun, terry cloth. fur fabric, fleece, velour. Contrasting sections also in felt.
Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs'. Use nap yardage and nap layouts for one-way design fabrics, Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.

Notions:
Thread, zipper: 16" for sizes 2,4 and 6. 18" for sizes 8 and 10. V.1: Yarn for pom-pon, V. 2 &3: 2 oz. of kapok or cotton batting.

Please Note that I ship patterns via letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item
