Retro Alfred Meakin Hedgerow Tea Cup & Saucer

Nice retro cup and saucer with a design of hand coloured hedgerow plants and pale blue banding. Marked on the base 'Hedgerow Alfred Meakin England. Applied under the glaze detergent and acid resisting colours'. The saucer has a tiny chip and hairline under the rim which doesn't show from above. The cup has two little marks on the base rim, possibly from kiln stilts. Saucer width 14.25cms.
