Purple Violets Footed Teacup & Saucer Made in Japan Iridescent Cup Gold Gilded

Loaded with lt. & dk. purple violet flowers, this dainty and delicate teacup is marked "Made in Japan."  Note: The teacup is thinner and lighter than the matching saucer and only the inside of the cup is iredescent. Gilded with gold accents. It is a beautiful, elegant teacup set.  

Condition: Used. There are slight signs of wear on the gilded gold on the footed cup, the top of the handle, and areas of the gold around the rim.  *The gold on the footed cup is the most noticeable, as pictured. No chips, cracks, or crazing.  

In researching for this identical teacup:  One seller says it is vintage, made in the 1950's. Made of porcelain. Unbranded (Note: The stamp on the base of my teacup says, "Made in Japan.")  Another seller says it is made by Nasco "circa. unknown"; Size: Cup 4-3/4" Long, 2-5/8" High, 3-3/4" Rim Diameter, 2-1/8" Base Diameter, Saucer 5-5/8" Diameter.
