Otagiri Pottery Emily Hollinger Designed Ceramic Coffee Cup Mug
A used ceramic Otagiri coffee cup mug designed by Emily Hollinger. The ceramic coffee cup features a white background glaze with a village scene painted over it. The village has trees, houses, farm buildings, farm fields, and a bridge. The village scene is upraised from the sides of the mug. 'Emily Hollinger' is painted on the side of the mug at the base.
The interior of the Otagiri mug is a light slate blue glaze. The bottom of the mug is marked 'Otagiri, Japan'. It holds 12 ounces of beverage.
This pre-owned Otagiri art pottery piece measures 3.5 inches tall x 3-1/8 inches in diameter at the rim. It weighs 11.2 ounces. Made in Japan.
****The piece is in good condition with no chips or repair. There is a line that goes all the way around the upper inside rim of the mug. I cannot tell if it is a glaze effect, is a crack, or is crazing. I've never seen a crack go all the way around a mug like this. I cannot determine the nature of this line so I am selling this mug in used "AS IS" condition. If you need more pictures, please let me know.*****
