Overall condition is acceptable. This is an edition that was given away by the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company when a customer purchased a carton of one of their cigarette brands. As such, unlike the regular Bantam edition, this one has numerous advertisements within it for the various brands of smokes (L&M, Eve, Lark, and Decade) marketed by Liggett & Myers. Other than the addition of the ads and the front cover, the book is the same as the 20th. printing of the book from 1978. Because of this, it is a tad more scarce than the same copies of the regular printing. The front cover has minor to moderate edge wear, a crease running parallel to the spine, some creasing along the upper edge, and average shelf wear. The back cover has some discoloration, moderate edge wear, some edge chipping (mainly on the outer edge), and average shelf wear. The spine has a single vertical crease, a wrinkle, and moderate edge wear. The interior pages have discolored with age.
