Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1975 Clint Eastwood Thriller THE EIGER SANCTION, based on the novel by Rod Whitaker and starring Clint Eastwood, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee and Jack Cassidy.
Classical art professor and collector Dr. Jonathan Hemlock, who doubles as a professional assassin, is coerced out of retirement to avenge the murder of an old friend.
Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a couple of nicks in the top edge.
