This is an original 1957 knitting pattern of a cowichan style sweater. It is a shawl collar, button cardigan, for boys or girls in sizes 8, 10 & 12.

This is a folded sheet pattern. Folded, it measures approximately 9-1/2 X 6-1/4 inches (24.1 X 15.9 cm). Unfolded, it measures approximately 18-7/8 X 12-1/2 inches (48.2 X 31.7 cm).
The pamphlet weighs ½ ounce (15 grams).
The pattern is in fair condition with small edge rips and a small hole in the center. There is lots of writing on the pattern from where the original owner was tracking her progress (looks to be pencil). There are 2 coffee stains, one on the rear cover and one on the inside. (see pictures).
