This listing is for (1x) seed pack containing 0.250g (Approximately 180 seeds) Huacatay (Black Mint/Tagetes minuta) seeds.Huacatay/Black Mint is an internationally beloved herb for flavoring sauces, teas, risotto, potatoes, chicken, fish, and many other dishes. Huacatay is one of the key ingredients in Peruvian aji verde sauce. It is the source of the essential oil marketed as “marigold oil”. The flavor of Huacatay can be described as a combination of basil, mint, and citrus. The leaves can be used fresh, dried, in paste form, or frozen. Huacatay stems can be bundled and hung around the house in order to repeal insects. Huacatay is considered a half hardy annual and can grow up to 6 feet tall. The roots of Black Mint can kill some perennial weeds.

Questions and Answers
Question From www.cheli.sheyla [0] Sat 27 Jun 2020 20:14:52 (EDT) hello so i purchased 2 packs a couple days
ago and recieved them, I live in Arizona and
it’s super hot right now. Do you recommend
planting them in this season/temperature
for outside?

Answer From xxgaretjaxx [+733] Sat 27 Jun 2020 21:39:44 (EDT) Hello,
Normally they would have been planted a couple of months ago, but it should be fine to plant the seeds right now. I wouldn't recommend putting them in direct sunlight while they are germinating or seedlings.
Thank you,
Nathaniel D. Gonzales
