This is a postcard-sized black & white photo showing the British Railways 2-6-0 steam locomotive no. 42950 at an unidentified major station or junction. It might be somewhere in the north-west of England, perhaps 1950s/1960s. The loco was ex-LMS 2950 Lobster Class, dating from 1933, and was withdrawn from BR service in 1965.
