"We, David Smith, of No. 1 Surrey Road, South Yaara, in the County of Bourke, Victoria, Carpenter, and Thomas Henry Tilley of No. 806 Graham Street, Essendon, i the County of Bourke Victoria, Australia, Engine Driver,, do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement: Our invention consists essentially of an iron frame supported upon two motive wheels and carrying a steel share or shovel, slotted or ribbed at back part, to form a comb, also an elevator or conveyor operating in conjunction with a grating..."
