Now retired Yachtmaster. Spent many years sailing around the Mediterranean mostly the Greek Islands (If you are looking for a great yachting holiday try www.Polco Yachts). I took up computing as a hobby mainly to keep in touch with old friends around the world. Buying or selling on the Internet (Mostly buying) is just for fun, you would be amazed at some of the junk I have bought. I realy don't expect to make any money out of it at all and if I do happen to get the odd bargain it's a bonus. I have met some real nice genuine people on eBid and actually made one or two friends but regretably have also been ripped of a few times (UKbestbuy for a few hundred along with many other people) and one or two others for trivial ammounts. but taken on the whole I still enjoy it.
