A native Californian (please don't hold that against me). I was born in Los Angeles July 5, 1950. I have always lived in southern or central CA. For all of my adult life, I have lived and worked in Bakersfield (since 1974). I started selling on-line in August, 2000 - mostly incidental stuff. Then in early 2004 I stepped-up my on-line auctions after my mother Doris passed. She left me the Red Skelton art and other items he had given her during the years between 1980 and 1989 when she was his housekeeper. Red was very generous and an ultra kind person as many know. It was totally in-character for him to give my mother a drawing; a napkin painting; an occasional oil painting - all over the course of 8 years. So my mother had quite a cache of Red Skelton items at the time of her death in August, 2003. My mother willed all of her possessions to me. Since I am not an art collector, nor do I have space to store artwork and other things that people might enjoy or want in their collections; I decided to begin auctioning-off the Red Skelton items left to me. While the Red Skelton items I have has been a main-stay in my auction activity; they are not the only items I have and will put-up for auction. So, to those of you who are looking not only for art or items having belonged to celebrities, I do offer other things that you might find interesting. That said, have a look at my auctions.
