Hi! I’m John Ballard. I began selling part-time on E-bay in 2006 shortly after I became a stay-at-home dad when my son was born premature (2005 at 3-1/2 lbs). He’s doing great and has a little sister (2008), so my main “job” has doubled. I now sell on ebid. We are fortunate to live in the beautiful North Carolina mountains and I am very lucky to spend so much time with them. I devote time searching shops, second-hand stores and estate sales in North Carolina and Tennessee for quality brands, vintage, discontinued, unique and hard-to-find items. I specialize in authentic vintage and pre-owned clothing and household items.

My first love is vintage Levi’s (my favorite since I was a child) and Carhartt’s and I wear them almost everyday. I find many pairs that aren’t my size and want to help people like me find them. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and finding good prices on quality items. I have always had a deep appreciation for antiques and nostalgia. Why vintage? Many of these items are unique, manufactured to higher quality standards, and were made in the U.S Also it is green to “recycle” by wearing/using vintage items thus saving valuable resources and energy.
