About Mint Strings;

Mint Strings carries, new guitars, ukuleles and accessories. We will on ocasion have other instruments such as banjos and mandolins too. We only carry quality pieces, and don't offer cheaply made pieces. Our goal is to offer a better instrument for beginner and indermediate players, although we do have some pro level pieces ad well. Like the moto "you are what you eat" , if you try learning to play on a cheaply made istrument, you'll probably give up because it will sound like crap. We feel that if you start with a good quality instrument will keep you playing.

We do carry a few refurbish guitars (unless noted), are serviced by a top level repair center. Our refurbished guitars may have had minor damage (not always), factory finish flaws or were damaged during shipping. These guitars come from the factory and have not previously been sold. Any flaws/defects have been professionally repaired. Once a repair is done (refurbished), it cannot be sold as new, but as mint condition used. Our refurbished guitars are professionally repaired by a center that has acquired a "Gold" level certification from Fender and employs at least one "Gold", six "Silver" and several "Bronze" level repair technicians. These are talented individuals that care a great deal about the end product and they do amazing work. In most cases you cannot see where any repairs were done.
