I am a refugee from eBay and its high fees and ridiculous DSRs.  I have at this moment only positive feedback points there and no negatives.  I trade on my honesty and fairness.  I charge actual postage and if I overcharge, I refund my buyers the difference.  I ship the business day after I receive payment and leave very positive feedback as soon as that payment happens.  I refuse to make a buyer angry.  If what I sent you wasn't what you thought it was, you get your money back, including postage you paid and the cost of shipping the item back to me.

I don't charge buyers for my shipping materials or time.  Many sellers don't realize that those things are deductible on their taxes, so I figure those are between me and the IRS, not between my buyers and me. 

I inherited thousands of items from my mother, father, and grandmother.  Hence, my user name, everywhere that I sell, which includes auctions8.com, and neoloch.com and here (but CraftMiscellany on etsy.com).  Unmatched, unrelated whole great big bunches of things.
