6' tall, fit, and in good health with no aches nor pains. 1st marriage 46 years. 2nd marriage currently 5 years. Retired 16 years on 4/3/05. Worked in various government agencies but much prefer retirement. Kind of jack-of-all-trades with broad avocational interests but find ball games, tv 'soaps', patriotism, and religion, utterly boring! Love home life. Holiday preference USA. Hate the Med resorts and especially Spain where the slums of the future are being built. Much prefer a 'shady nook' with a good book to sunny sandy beaches. Enjoy solitude and silence, especially when the good lady is in the close vicinity warding-off the phantom of loneliness. Kind of laid back and find social climbers boring; the Lilliputians in society. Tendency to like the arts, theatre, concerts, classical music, and the 'old standards'. Enjoy dancing and dinner in posh establishments with the good lady. Spending more time surfing the Internet than watching tv these days but not quite addicted yet! Non-smoker, non-drinker, but not too puritanical; eternally optimistic with sense of humour, Still enjoying life in my mid-70s!
