My Name is David Baggaley I am married with 3 kids and I have been working as a Silversmith since 1991  

I started selling on ebid in April 2010  I will be adding new items all the time I have just added some on the 8th april 2013 and  I check in every day manage to my account and the forums as well

 I have been involved, in the Silver & Gold Industry, since 1991,when I was apprenticed into a very reputable company, as a Handforger of Sterling Silver Flatware.
The apprenticshhip lasted for 5 years, and during that time I also went to Sheffield College,where I was taught all the different aspects of Silversmithing & Jewellery
I finished my apprenticship in 1996, and also achieved a Advanced City & Guilds as a Silversmith & allied trades and was offered a place at sheffield University to study for a B A Honors In Design, but decided my time would be best served working hand on at the anvil and bench
The following years where very enjoyable, producing work for companys such as James Robinson, Asprey Gerrards, Langfords , Bently & Skinner , Thomas Goode , and many others, As well helping to make prototypes for many top British Designers
In 2000 I was proud to be the handforger of a 29 inch Solid Silver Basting Spoon, weighing 49 troy oz, and took me 21 hours to forge it out to shape from a silver bar 10 inchs long. It is belived to be the largest Handforged Brittannia Silver Spoon ever made The customer was kept a secret by my employer
