These necklaces were designed and MADE IN AUSTRALIA with Swarovski Rhinestone Chain.
The chain is brass and each link is individual allowing for a rubber band type action like, if the stones in a section of the chain are pushed against each other to a length of 10 cm, then, if each end is pulled, the chain will extend itself to 13 cm.
This is not a cheaply made chain that can be cut by scissors.
