THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE
Thomas the tank engine model train.

Dated 2007.
It has an on/off switch and a battery compartment, so I'm sure that it must be able to do something mechanical, but whatever it is, I have failed to make it do it. Thing is, it just looks so perfect it's hard to imagine it's broken in any way, the bodywork certainly hasn't been abused. Maybe the problem is inside, I've had the casing off looking for a wire that needs re-attaching (there isn't one) and I just can't find anything wrong with it. It has either had it's motor shorted (allthough I would expect to see burn marks if this is the case) or it needs something attaching to it to make it work, maybe putting it on a track (that I don't have) is necessary to complete a circuit.
For the moment, I'm going to assume it doesn't work and I am going to have to offer it as a decorative item.
