In this edition, all the volumes are combined in one book. Jean-Baptiste Rene Robinet (1735-1820) is an eighteenth-century French materialist philosopher and prominent Enlightenment ideologue. Robinet's philosophical views are of exceptional interest both from the point of view of the richness of their ideas and from the point of view that they fit into the overall picture of eighteenth-century French materialism.
