Seller's Description
This is a postcard with an “aerial view” of Zanzibar, now in Tanzania. It is not really from an aircraft, but rather from sone unknown high spot. There are what appear to be old town walls in the foreground, as well as many houses and a church. The card was published by Moloo Brothers in the city, and posted in 1964.
The sender appears to be on a cruise ship, and wrote the card while near Mogadishu, hence the Somali stamps.
The card is in fair condition with minor wear to the corners and edges, and a few marks. It is slightly bigger than usual, at 145mm x 105mm, and the edges are slightly serrated.
