Sepia real photographic postcard showing a view of a man on horseback crossing the new bridge, Birkdale Footbridge, by Cauldron Snout on the River Tees on the border of Yorkshire and Durham. The bridge replaced an earlier one and was itself replaced in 1966.
Publisher not stated, not numbered, c.1920s.
Postally unused, but with a note to the back dated “20/3/67 - No change - yet.”, which may be a joke as the replacement would have been completed by this date.
Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but small crease to top left corner.
