Seller's Description
“Kings of the Steel Guitar & Banjo” - GALAXY 2 DP-735. The records are in very good condition with some light scratches & scuffing but quite unobtrusive & still great music. The gatefold jacket has one marker mark on the front, otherwise fine. This appears to be 2 LPs that were issued separately put together in this gatefold double release. The first LP “Kings Of The Steel Guitar” has several selections each from Leon McAuliff, Herb Remington, Pete Wade & Jenks Carmen. The first several with western swing type steel, while Carmen has a very distinct & lovely, skipping, Hawaiian sound. The second LP is a great bluegrass instrumental LP featuring the talented banjo picking of Bill Emerson. A very good double set here.
