"I, Sydney Elliott Page, of 28 New Bridge Street, in the City of London, Chartered Patent Agent, do hereby declare the nature of this invention (which has been communicated to me from abroad by Joseph Salomon, manufacturer, a citizen of the United States and resident of No. 18 Guernsey Street, in the Borough of Brooklyn, County of Kings, City and State of New York, United States of America) and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement: This invention relates to sheet metal frames for pulleys, wheels, and the like, and its objects are to improve upon the construction of such sheet metal frames and enable the frame to be made out of one piece of metal, thereby increasing the strength of the device and simplifying the construction, with lightness of parts, the whole being exceedingly cheap to manufacture..."
