Some Information About taichilady
I work as a clerical support officer at St James Hospital in Leeds, you may know it from the TV programs, Jimmy's, Jimmy's revisited & the latest instalment St Jimmy's. Jimmy's, as the locals call it, is the largest teaching hospital in Europe and the 3rd largest in the world. I've been there 10 years now and I can still get lost!
My user name on Ebid is taichilady, so that probably gives you a clue as to how I spend my spare time. I took up Tai Chi about 16 years ago now and qualified as an instructor about 11 years ago. I have run my own classes in the past and may well do so again in the future, but I am not teaching at the moment.
My other hobby is collecting Matryoshka, sometimes known as Babushka, Russan dolls, stacking dolls or nesting dolls. I have over 300 sets at the last count and no real place to put them all. I probably need a bigger house!
My family think I'm quite mad, in the nicest possible way of course, and put up with my eccentricities and my slightly unusual lifestyle. Bless them.
I don't sell a huge amount on Ebid, but I suppose you could say it has become another hobby. It's a great way of having a clear out and much easier than doing a boot sale. All from the comfort of your own home, what more could you ask for?

I'm very easy going and laid back and will always:
combine postage to save you money
look for the cheapest way to send your parcel
and if you are bidding on more than one item I am always willing to wait for them all to finish
I obtain a certificate of posting on every parcel I send.
I can usually only post on a Saturday but if you need an item quicker I will try to help
I don't like having to do it but I will report non paying bidders and re-list the items. (only after every attempt to contact them has failed)
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with an item, I will refund the auction price only on receipt of the item in the same condition it was sold. Refunds will not be offered for items returned damaged. Postage is non-refundable under any circumstances.
