Original French 23 1/2 inch x 31 1/2 inch Poster for the 1971 Pierre Granier-Deferre Crime Drama WIDOW COUDERC (LA VEUVE CLOUDERC), based on the novel by Georges Simenon and starring Alain Delon, Simone Signoret, Ottavia Piccolo, Jean Tissier and Monique Chaumette.

A rural film noir, set in 1934 in a village in the French countryside.

Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
