Seller's Description
Genuine Vintage 18ct White Gold Diamond Tanzanite Ring Band
Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.
I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe. I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras but not so great for online sales as the effort listing negates the income.
I am retiring from trade fairs now so am starting to list some of my more expensive items all at bargain prices.
ABOUT THIS RING
Constructed from solid 18ct white gold (750 parts per 1000)
Fully hallmarked in Africa and fully x-ray tested.
Dates to latter part of the 20th Century c1980s.
Large oval cabochon Tanzanite (12.7mm x 10.2mm) flanked on either side by 2 x round natural cut white diamonds.
Antique white gold used to be gold alloyed with platinum and stayed white.
As time has progressed Rhodium has been introduced as a hard wearing white coating and rings constructed this way may require a new coat to be applied periodically.
This is in very good condition.
Main Stones: Large oval cabochon Tanzanite (12.7mm x 10.2mm) flanked on either side by 2 x round natural cut white diamonds, offset in a twist style.
For those who think a certificate is relevant - first IT IS NOT but secondly I have a filing cabinet with over 10,000 certificates in (sorry trees) and will try to locate the relevant one for each ring sold but this may delay dispatch.
Width across setting is 12.7 mm.
Width at rear is 1.7 mm.
Depth of setting is 6.3mm.
UK Size is K.
US size is 5.25.
Resizable by your jeweller (I do not resize without measuring the finger myself)
Weight: 4 grams (rounded up to nearest gram)
You would expect to pay between £750 and £1,500 for a ring like this at a fancy antique shop, depending on your ability to hunt down a bargain.
Fully insured and tracked postage MUST be purchased with this ring.
I guarantee all items to be as described and will accept a return on anything you are not happy with.
Please contact me directly via messaging should you wish to do this.
