Guidelines for Assessing Condition of Used Records:
MINT (M):  Absolutely perfect in every way, never been played & possibly still sealed.  The age of the record has nothing to do with it.
NEAR MINT (NM):  This record appears virtually flawless, maybe a very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw, which is hard to see.  The cover looks close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. Minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) might be present, however the artwork is pretty close to perfect.
EXCELLENT (EX):  May have minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs, but NO Scratches.  Artwork on cover is pretty close to perfect, may have a slight impression & minor outer ring wear, but no ink wear! Some slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled.  The corners can show white, or some slight wear. No seam splits, writing on the cover or taped repairs.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+):  Record shows wear, surface scuffs, the vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable, but don't cause any surface noise.  The cover is clean, but may have small writing on it, artwork looks clean with slight aging.  The back of the cover usually gives away the age.  Flat white paper may be somewhat yellow, but no stains or mildew from water damage.  Minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears.  Corners can be  slightly dog earred, but not defacing the artwork - should have no more than 3 flaws mentioned.
VERY GOOD (VG):   Record may not really look very good, but it will still play very good, probably with some surface noise, but the dynamics should still be excellent, overpowering the surface noise.  Will appear to have been played but still have some luster.  Cover looks worn, used, may be some seam splitting . There will be some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off. There may be some writing on the cover, will look aged and more yellowish, but still decent.
GOOD PLUS (G+) OR GOOD (G):   Good does not mean bad, record can play through without skipping, with significant surface noise, scratches & visible groove wear.  Cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine.  Tape, writing, ring wear & other defects may be present.
FAIR (F) OR POOR (P):   Cracked, badly warped, won't play through without skipping or repeating.  The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams & heavily marred by wear & writing.  LP cover barely keeps the record inside it.  Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled & written upon.

We ship only to the address provided on your PayPal account.
  • You have the option to upgrade or request a certain shipping method or provider, at an additonal cost.

  • Your item will be carefully packed & shipped, usually within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) of receiving payment.  We will contact you if it is going to be over this time-frame.
Domestic Orders
  • SS Reality Sales typically ships USPS.  We occasionally ship UPS or Fedex, depending on weight and/or delivery address.
  • A signature is required upon delivery of all orders over $200
  • All sales that are shipped within the state of Minnesota are subject to 6.88% sales tax, unless a resale certificate is emailed to us, the resale certificate is subject to SS's approval.
International Orders
  • Buyer is presented with shipping options at checkout & is responsible for all custom fees in addition to shipping charges.
  • First-Class International shipping is the cheapest, however, there is no tracking service provided, only a customs number that informs when the item leaves the USA.  Also, it may take up to 60 business days, or more, for the item to be delivered.  We cannot offer delivery guarantee with First-Class International shipping.

  • Purchases need to be returned in original packaging and with all tags attached within 30 days.
  • Buyer is responsible for return postage.
