Original 10 inch x 8 inch Portrait of CICELY COURTNEIDGE in the 1937 Herbert Mason Comedy TAKE MY TIP, based on the play by Francis de Croisset.
The portrait is by Otto Dyar with his stamp on the reverse.
Lord and Lady Pilkington get tricked out of their money by a con man. They later run into the swindler in a hotel and they adopt various disguises to hoodwink him and get both revenge and their money back.
The portrait is in very good condition with a crease in the top left corner and minor surface marks.
